Slow Cooker Asian Style Meatballs

Ingredients
  

For the meatballs:

  • 2 pound ground beef 80% lean; (or 1 bag (28 oz) of ready-made meatballs)
  • 1 ⅓ cup milk
  • 10 tbs panko
  • 1 yellow onion diced
  • 2 eggs whisked
  • 3 tsb. salt
  • 1 tsb.of white pepper
  • 1 tsb. sugar
  • For the sauce:
  • 4.7 oz of Hoisin Sauce
  • 1 Bottle of Thai Sweet Chili Sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. of Rice Vinegar
  • 4 Tbsp. of Soy Sauce
  • Sesame seeds

Instructions
 

  • Mix milk and Panko and set aside for 10 min.
  • In a separate container mix ground meat, diced onion, whisked eggs, salt, pepper and sugar. Add the Panko mix and work the meat dough smoothly.
  • With wet hands form small to medium sized meatballs and put on a baking sheet.
  • Fry the meatballs in a pan with butter until golden brown on the surface. Do not worry of getting the meatballs done inside since they will get ready in the slow cocker.
  • Mix Hoisin Sauce, Thai Sweet Chili Sauce, Rice Vinegar, & soy sauce in a bowl until well blended.
  • Add meatballs to combine sauce and toss.
  • Add meatballs to a slow cooker and cook on high for 2-3 hours stirring continuously.
  • Remove the meatballs and roll them in sesame seeds on a plate
